Have a Travel First Aid Kit in your next hiking trip
It is a well known fact that all of us have had the opportunity to use a first aid kit at some stage in our lives and carrying one during traveling is all the more imperative to enable you to deal with any health issues.
It is therefore necessary to organize a complete first aid travel kit.
It is possible to organize rudimentary and a more complete travel first aid kit without having to spend a lot of money as it purely depends upon your state of medical preparedness and the time you expect to take to get proper trained medical assistance.
Some tips on the method to organize a complete travel first aid kit is mentioned as under.
Though you can carry items of your preference, there are some common travel first aid kit items that you should not do without.
You need to carry along antacids, anti diarrheals, aspirin, anti allergic creams, cough syrups and pain killers to deal with indigestion, pain, breathing issues and any untoward allergies.
Do not forget to carry along your normal medicines that help you take care of the odd allergy or help boost blood sugar levels as these are proven items and you must carry them along with the other travel first aid things. You may also want to include cough medication, or if you suffer from asthma, an extra inhaler etc
In addition to some of the above mentioned medical drugs and formulations, it is very imperative to take along other accessories like gauze pads, bandages, antiseptic creams or soaps, scissors, gloves with which you can examine, tweezers to help you remove bee stings and many such items.
The main purpose of the travel first aid kit is to be fully prepared to tackle any emergency. Take extra care and caution then to always have at least 60 minutes on your phone for battery time, or to have a phone card, to include a lighter (to sterilize things, or start a fire if need be), a small flashlight (you can find ones now that do not require a battery, but just need to be shook to generate power).
Please also carry along telephone numbers for easy communication.
