Once you have narrowed down your options of the cruise as to when and where you wish to visit, the next decision is to choose the cruise line and the size of the ship that you wish to use. The size of the cruise ship can dictate the cruise line, because some cruise ship companies offer larger cruise ships than others. Some cruise lines use only the smaller cruise ships. These create a more intimate atmosphere and have smaller groups of people. Other cruise lines offer the enormous ships which cater for passengers in the thousands. You must decide if you have taste for small more personal cruise experience or prefer the larger more socializing setting. Even on larger cruise ships, there are still areas where people can go to get away from the crowds. Feeling crowded in the enormous ships was is a problem in all.
